Grow the seeds
Open a card, plant its seeds, and tend the whole plant to harvest. Growing difficulty is the card's real rarity โ a fussy heirloom is rarer than a bean because it is genuinely harder to bring to seed.
Grow, save, and share real seed. Compassion Seed is the movement; Terraseeds brings growing into a plant trading-card game, and Seedlore is the encyclopedia that documents the plants.
Compassion Seed, Terraseeds, and Seedlore share a purpose: more people growing and saving seed.
Compassion Seed is a seed-saving movement: free starter seeds, community seed donations, region-matched genetics so plants go where they will thrive, and an open archive that keeps varieties alive for biodiversity and emergencies.
Terraseeds is the plant trading-card game. Each species in the real world is catalogued as a creature. The physical card is a small sealed case holding real seeds of that species โ how full the case is sets the creature's level. Rarer cards are simply the seeds that are harder to save and grow, so the way to earn more cards is to actually plant, tend, and harvest.
Early build in progress. The first card set, the seed library, and the public Seedlore encyclopedia are being assembled now. Nothing is for sale yet.
Terraseeds rewards the thing the world needs: more people growing and saving more seed.

Clean, dry, and store the seeds you produced. Seed count and viability set your creature's level; a fuller, fresher case is a stronger card. Storage and longevity are part of the skill.
Surplus saved seed can be verified and sealed into new cards โ or donated to send genetics to the region where they will do the most good. Playing well literally propagates real plants.
Seedlore is the plant encyclopedia, entry by entry. Each species is described thoroughly enough that any artist can draw it and the rules can derive its type, stats, and moves from real botany โ if this plant became sentient, what creature would its ecology make it? Seedlore also tracks how many seeds the community reports having planted.
